Welcome to SDEThub.com!

I’m Eugene Truuts, a software developer in test (SDET) from Tallinn, Estonia 🇪🇪. In 2022 I graduated from the University of the People (the United States) with a Computer Science degree. During my education, I was one of the winners of the Apple Swift Student Challenge.

Even before graduating, I gained work experience in various roles throughout my education, transitioning from a manual tester in small startups to an automation engineer in national-size corporations.

Beyond testing, I bring a unique blend of skills with a profound understanding of UX/UI design and product management, providing valuable insights during design reviews.

For the last two years I’ve been specializing in the Microsoft Playwright framework, JavaScript, and TypeScript, I ensure software systems’ seamless functionality and reliability.

With over five years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, I decided to share my knowledge with a global software development community.

The most challenging in the modern world is to write compactly. People now are trying to save time and read short and informational articles, so I’m trying to express myself shortly.

Since English is not my native language, it’s a double challenge for me to write in English, but I love to write in English.

I’m creative, and my favorite hobbies are music creation and photography. I have a specialization in music production. I got on Coursera and some practice courses in sound recording studios. Now, I am studying photography specialization as part of my hobby.

In this blog you will find useful guides and tutorials about test automation, Playwright framework, javascript, CI/CD, etc.
